    I have got an opportunity to visit Dhyana Buddha ghat during Krishna pushkaralu at Amaravathi which was situated at the banks of river Krishna.The magnificent statue of Buddha which is about 125 feet tall is worth viewing.

     During karthik masam ,we had been to Penchalakona ,a famous Narasimha kshetram, which is situated around 70 kms distance  from Nellore  via  Rapur  , by our car.       There is a bus facility from Rapur to Nellore for every half an hour around 30 kms distance from there.Government tourist guest houses will be available for people who are coming from the  distant places .        History;' Penu' means huge and 'Sila' means rock .Penusila kona became Penchalakona in course of time .  Lord.Narasimha swami killed a demon called Hiranya kashyap and self manifested (Swayam bhuvu) himself as a rock here.The Lakshmi Narasimha swamy temple is situated at the foot of the hill                                          .
