I have got an opportunity to visit Dhyana Buddha ghat during Krishna pushkaralu at Amaravathi which was situated at the banks of river Krishna. The magnificent statue of Buddha which is about 125 feet tall is worth viewing.
My journey to Varanasi
Varanasi is known as the spiritual capital of India. The city is in between two ghats named Varun and Assi. So the town is called as Varanasi. It is also called as Kashi and Benaras.,which is situated at the banks of the river Ganges. Recently a ten members of Our team went there to perform my mother-in-law's annual funeral customary rites. We stayed at Ganga view guest house which is very near to the ghats. On 5th and6th April we have done the rituals successfully. At the evening we had taken a boat ride at river Ganga .The guide cum boat rider well explained about the ghats .Hetold us that there are approximatly 360 above ghats are existed .Harischandra ghat and Manikarnika ghat are known for funeral rites We have seen Ganga harthi from the boat.It was really amazing. We offered deep harthi to holiGanga. We went to Kashi Vishwanath,Annapurna and Vishalakshi temples and had our darshan.
